Hurricane Helene Update

On September 27th hurricane Helene tore through western North Carolina, leaving devastation in its wake. I am deeply grateful to be counted among those who have survived the storm with little damage. I have started a thread on my blog to process my experience of Helene. Read along here: Journal

Our community is grieving; we are emotionally and physically exhausted, but we still have bills to pay. My art is my sole source of income, and it is nerve-wracking not knowing what the future looks like as we recover. Several of my long-standing vendors are not currently able to operate. Tourists are being asked to refrain from visiting, which is necessary as there is much clean up and rebuilding to do.  After almost two weeks without, power has been restored to my home studio. Potable, running water is still weeks away from reaching us. I am able to create in limited capacity. Please allow up to two weeks for shipping at this time.

There are no words for how grateful I am for your support, always, and especially in the wake of Helene. If you’d like to offer assistance but are not looking for jewelry at the moment, consider a Gift Certificate or a donation via the form below. Please see ArtsAVL for info on how to support the Asheville creative community at large, particularly folks who lost everything.

With love,

Telle
