Hurricane Helene
Updated November 14, 2024
On September 27th hurricane Helene tore through western North Carolina, leaving devastation in its wake. I am deeply grateful to be counted among those who have survived the storm with little damage to my home or studio.
Our community is grieving; we are emotionally and physically exhausted, but we still have bills to pay. My art is my sole source of income, and it is nerve-wracking not knowing what the future looks like as we recover. There is much clean up and rebuilding to do. After almost two weeks without, power was restored to my home studio. The majority of Asheville still lacks access to potable, running water. I am able to create in limited capacity. Please allow up to two weeks for shipping at this time.
There are no words for how grateful I am for your support, always, and especially in the wake of Helene. If you’d like to offer assistance but are not looking for jewelry at the moment, consider purchasing a Gift Certificate for later. Please see ArtsAVL for info on how to support the Asheville creative community at large, particularly folks who lost everything.
